2nd. International Short Film Festival of Belo Horizonte From 22 to 30 September, 1995.
The Festival joined the world centennial commemoration of the cinema with an especial retrospect called Cinema, A Hundred Years. 154 short films from 24 countries were exhibited, among them 52 from Brazil. The more prominent shows of the second edition were: “A Look Over the World”, with national and international films; The Abbas Kiarostami Show, dedicated to the short film production of the Iranian filmmaker; Short Films from Rio Grande do Sul, organized by Casa de Cinema de Porto Alegre; and “A Short History of Brazilian Cinema”, which included productions of important names of the Brazilian film industry, like Glauber Rocha, Rogério Sgan zerla and José Mojica Marins.
